Villa Gita is positioned about a hundred metres in from the main road, and is accessed via a private driveway protecting the calm serenity of the location. Villa Gita has its own secure entrance with a parking area large enough for two vehicles. It is currently under the management of Kalyana Bay Villas, Manggis.

Villa Gita is located on Jl.Raya Candidasa in the heart of the delightful seaside village of Candidasa. It is just over an hour´s drive from Bali International Airport when traffic conditions are good, 15 minutes from the ferry port at Padang Bai, half an hour from the Taman Safari Park, and about 40 minutes from Ubud.

The contemporary-styled villa comprises three single-storey buildings at ground level. The architecture combines contemporary elements with traditional Balinese features. The villa, with open plan living/dining areas is characterized by an abundance of space and light, elegance and graceful simplicity. The master suite, Abhimanyu, located in the center of the villa and opens out to the living/dining area through an elegant walkway edged with lotus and melati ponds that are also home to sparkling goldfish. The suite to the right (facing the ocean) is the Arjuna Suite and to the left is the Draupadi Suite. The Arjuna and Draupadi suites have porticos that afford lovely views of the ocean and are ideal for a morning coffee or an evening cocktail.

All three bedroom suites are spacious, well-lit, fully air-conditioned, with king-sized beds. They are furnished with an armchair, elegant side tables, and table lamps. Each bedroom suite is equipped with flat-screen TV and DVD player. Wireless internet is available (at a charge) throughout the villa. The Master Suite Abhimanyu is also equipped with cable TV and comes with an additional desk and chair. All bedrooms have gleaming timber floors, and are equipped with safe deposit boxes. Rollaway beds are also available on request. There is a fully equipped kitchen and laundry facilities (washer and dryer) are available on-site. All suites are tastefully furnished with subtle and elegant artwork.

Each suite has a dressing area with a walk in wardrobe with ample storage space and drawers. Sliding glass doors in each bedroom provide direct access to the living/dining area, which is positioned centrally between the three suites. All the en-suite bathrooms are fashioned in cream palimanan stone and beige marble with oversize terrazzo bathtubs and well-lit double vanity units complete with wall mirrors and twin washbasins. Villa Gita is situated in the heart of the seaside village of Candidasa with access through a private driveway off the main road of Jl. Raya Candidasa. This beautiful area is set well away from the hustle and bustle of mainstream tourism in the island’s magnificent eastern regency of Karangasem. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance from the villa. Prestigious neighbours include two of the best resorts in Bali, Amankila and Alila Manggis.

Villa Gita is just over an hour´s drive from Bali´s International Airport when traffic conditions are good, 15 minutes from the ferry port at Padang Bai, half an hour from the Taman Safari Park, and about 40 minutes from Ubud.

Directions: From Ngurah Rai international airport, Denpasar, take the Ngurah Rai bypass highway towards Padangbai, Candi Dasa and Amlapura. Villa Gita is in the center of Candi Dasa just off the highway. After you enter Candi Dasa, you will pass restaurants and shops on both sides of the highway and you will see a large lotus pond on your right. Continue on the highway for 200 meters past the lotus pond and take the very first right turn off the highway after the lotus pond. You will see a road sign for Villa Gita at the turnoff. Immediately after taking the right turn, turn right again into a gate which has board saying “Orion Bay Villas”. Villa Gita is the villa directly in front of you.

The Villa

Villa Talia Vashti is a luxury fully-serviced private villa situated right on the southern shore of the tropical island paradise of Bali, close to the resort of Candi Dasa. The villa comfortably accommodates 6 people (plus an infant) in three suites, each with its own ensuite bathroom and views of the ocean.

The villa is located directly on a private white sand beach with spectacular views across the sea to Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan, and on a clear day even to Lombok. The beach is sheltered by a coral reef that lies only 100m offshore, which not only provides the beach with shelter from the big waves that roll in from the open ocean, but also means that snorkeling and swimming conditions are ideal for children and adults alike.

Although Villa Talia Vashti lies in a secluded location at the end of a private road, it is less than a few minutes by car from the restaurants and shops of Candi Dasa, which has most facilities that you will need for your stay, or alternatively the laid back bars of Mendira Beach are just a few minutes walk through the coconut plantation next to Villa Talia Vashti.

The Entrance

Once through the main gates, you enter Villa Talia Vashti to find a relaxing water garden. Koi carp and other tropical fish gently swim beneath the stepping stones that make up the path that leads to the Living Room and the two guest suites, with the only sound the gentle splashing of a fountain to disturb you.

The Guest Suites

Each guest suite is beautifully appointed and furnished, with a walk in wardrobe and a fully furnished en-suite bathroom with corner bath and stone shower that is open to air. One suite has a king size double, and the other has large twin beds.

The Living Room

The Living Room is focal point of Villa Talia Vashti. The windows to the front are able to be folded back enabling the living room to be opened up entirely to the Terrace and the sea beyond. The modern yet comfortable lounge area is equipped with Satellite TV and DVD as well as full stereo system.

The Master Suite

Occupying the whole of the upstairs floor, the master suite has complete privacy yet with floor-to-ceiling windows it also offers amazing views out across the ocean and over the beach and coconut palm plantation next to the villa. With windows on both sides of the room the light floods in, and if you tire of the air-conditioning, simply open the windows and let the sea breeze gently waft you to sleep instead.

The master suite actually comprises three separate rooms, with a separate dressing room (which can also be used as a baby room) and a remarkable en-suite bathroom, as well as the main sleeping area complete with king size bed.

For the bathroom prepare yourself for something extraordinary. Beautifully finished in a combination of wood and local stone, the bathroom boasts a stand alone shower and a giant stone bath that is easily big enough to take two persons. The bath has also been raised so that you can actually bathe in luxury while at the same time enjoying fabulous views out of the window to the sea and the islands beyond.

Accommodations

Villa Pantai has two Luxurious Bedroom Suites of generous proportions. Both have their own stylish Ensuite Bathrooms and are air-conditioned for your comfort. They have breathtaking Balcony views of the Indian Ocean, Nusa Penida Island, the surrounding mountains and the private garden enclave at the Villa. The configuration of the Bedrooms is ideally suited to sleep two couples. Two small children can also be accommodated, if required. The downstairs Lounge is designed for total relaxation. It has large folding glass doors facing the sea, opening wide to the entertainment Terrace, Swimming pool and Jacuzzi spa. Adjacent to the Lounge is the formal Dining room with its beautiful mahogany table and seating for 6 guests. Immediately out from the Dining room is the outdoor Bale where the cool afternoon breezes can be found. The Entertainment Terrace also provides an informal dining area under the balcony for that relaxed barbeque lunch or dinner. Here you can find the sundecks to relax and soak up the sun by the Pool and Spa. Alternatively, relax under the two large Chumplung trees down near the water’s edge of the private white sand beach.

Villa Pantai Staff

Staff members live on site in their own quarters and can be available 24/7 if required. For security reasons this will give you peace of mind when staying at Villa Pantai.

Length of Stay

A week at Villa Pantai is probably the minimum you will need. It generally takes most guests 3 or 4 days to un-wind. If it is your first time at the Villa, then it is recommended that two weeks is just right. But three weeks is even better. There are so many activities available in and around East Bali, that three weeks would just be enough time to take it all in.

Be Organized

Yes you’re in Bali for a holiday and to chill out. But you will find that if you don’t organize your day to some extent, then the days will fly by without you doing anything to remember. If you need some help organizing your day then speak with your Villa Manager, Gusti. He can make arrangements for all your daily activities for you. Be specific with what you want or need from your Villa Manager Gusti and every effort will be made to organize it for you.

Meals

A Continental Breakfast is included as part of your rate package. If you wish to have a cooked or alternative breakfast you should speak with your Villa Manager Gusti. He can arrange alternative meals for a small extra charge. For lunch and snacks we have a limited menu available featuring Western and Indonesian favourites. Prices are listed on the menu. For dinner, if you wish to dine-in, you need to speak with our Villa Manager Gusti in the morning regarding your request. Alternatively, Candi Dasa offers some fine restaurants for you to dine at. Ask our Villa Manager Gusti for his recommendations and to arrange transport if required.

Dietary Requirements

If you have some special dietary requirements. Your Villa Manager Gusti is happy to prepare delicious meals to your particular tastes or dietary requirements. He can also recommend cafés or restaurants that cater for people with such special requirements. Please make your request to our Villa Manager Gusti upon arrival at the Villa.

Electricity

East Bali is known to have power black outs during times of heavy loads on the power grid. However, they do not occur very often but they do happen. Having a torch with you would be a good idea. There are also candles available from Gusti. When the power goes off, so too the water pump. The Villa has bore water and the pump will go off when there is a power failure. Also, we provide AC power adaptors for Australian appliances in each Suite. For other adaptors, please speak to our Villa Manager Gusti.

Water

As mentioned, we use bore water at the Villa. It is not recommended that you drink the tap water. Although the water looks crystal clear, it is not safe to drink. There is always bottled water in the fridge at the bar and two bottles are provided in each Suite per person per day.

Terrazzo Flooring

The terrazzo flooring is beautiful, but deadly. With wet feet they are more slippery than an ice skating rink. Please take extreme care and make sure your feet are dry especially if you have just been in the pool or spa. Please keep your children under close supervision at all times to avoid any accidents. Terrazzo is a very porous stone surface and is highly sensitive to red wine and other acidic liquids. Please remove the wine or other liquids immediately.

Villa Pantai Guest Book

By doing so, you will alert our Villa Manager Gusti to any issues you had with his service levels or other issues. You can also communicate with future guests about your enjoyable holiday at Villa Pantai.

Tipping

In every other hotel in Bali, a service charge of 10% or more is added to your bill as a tipping charge. This is then shared by the staff on a monthly basis. At Villa Pantai we don’t add a service charge on top of your accommodation bill. Therefore, we encourage you to leave a tip with our Villa Manager Gusti to share with the other staff. This should be in accordance with your level of satisfaction with the service they have provided you.

The Swimming Pool and Spa

The focal point of the Entertainment Terrace is the crystal clear water of the infinity style Swimming pool and Jacuzzi spa. The Swimming pool is a 6 x 3 metres and 2 metres deep infinity style that gives the illusion of swimming into the ocean on the horizon. The pool is tiled with rich royal blue ceramic tiles imported from Italy especially for this pool and spa. In the late afternoon the pool and entertainment areas are shaded by the two huge Chumplung trees and cooled by the afternoon sea breezes from the Indian Ocean.

Entertainment

The entertainment Terrace is complete with sun decks, umbrellas and outdoor dining facilities. This is the area for all day relaxing. Morning sunbathing and in the afternoon you can catch the cooling sea breezes. When evening comes, relax again with friends for a barbeque or that outdoor dining experience. The Terrace overlooks the crystal clear waters of the Indian Ocean with the mystical Island of Nusa Penida in the background. Watch the ever changing landscape on the waters of the Indian Ocean with the Ferries coming and going from Lombok Island and the myriad of fishing boats going about their business. As night falls, watch the spectacular crimson sunsets to the West over the mountains and the ocean. Relaxing on the Terrace is sheer heaven on a balmy Balinese day.

Villa Pantai is truly an enchanting place to stay for that romantic holiday of a lifetime. There are three televisions available at the Villa. One TV is in the Lounge and two are upstairs in the Bedroom Suites. We also have Satellite TV for your International viewing with many channels to choose from. Villa Pantai has available to its guests the services of an experienced cook who can provide succulent meals from snacks to lavish dinner parties. Perfect for that romantic lunch or dinner on the entertainment Terrace or down by the beach under the shade of the Chumplung trees. Alternatively, for those who prefer to dine out of an evening, Candi Dasa has a large number of good restaurants within easy walking distance from Villa Pantai. Ask your Villa Manager Gusti for his recommendations and to arrange transport if required. Villa Pantai offers a variety of food services. A Continental breakfast is included in the standard rate package. If you require a cooked breakfast or have specific dietary requirements then you should speak with your Villa Manager Gusti who can make arrangements to meet your specific needs. He will also discuss with you the additional charges for the food and preparation. In addition to breakfast the Villa has a small menu for snacks, lunch and drinks. Prices are listed on the menu for your convenience. If you require other food items then please speak with your Villa Manager Gusti and he will make arrangements upon your requests. Daily afternoon tea or coffee and Balinese sweet delicacies are also included in the standard rate package.

Internet Services

The Villa has a laptop computer for the use of the internet or emails. Please speak with your Villa Manager Gusti if you require these services. As small time based fee is charged for internet and email usage. There are also a number of Internet Cafés in Candi Dasa which offer basic Bali time (slow) internet services.

Massage and Spa Treatments

Bali is a Mecca for massage and spa treatments. There are many local villagers who perform a traditional Balinese massage. There are also local healers who perform therapeutic massage for your very stressed out muscles, body and limbs. If you want to take advantage of these low cost stress and pain relief massages then you should speak with your Villa Manager Gusti. He can organize the most appropriate masseur.

Pool and Spa

Unlike in Australia and other parts of the world, Bali does not have laws governing the fencing of Swimming Pools and Spas. Consequently, the pool and spa at the Villa are not fenced and are open to all guests. Pools and spas, just like the beach and the surf, are dangerous places if you’re not careful. Please exercise extreme caution when using the Pool or Spa. If you are accompanied by small or young children, please ensure they are supervised at all times. Never take your eyes off them for a moment, as accidents can happen very quickly.

Medical Services

If you are in need of general medical services, we can recommend a local English speaking doctor located in Buitan, Manggis. If however, you require more specialized medical services then it would be best to contact the various Western based hospitals such as BIMC or SOS in Kuta. Please speak with your Villa Manager Gusti for more information regarding your choice of service.

Laundry Services

A laundry service is available at the Villa for a small additional charge. Please allow 24 hours for processing. Speak with your Villa Manager Gusti if you require this service.

Organised Tours

At Villa Pantai we have available to us the exclusive services of a professional English speaking driver with an air-conditioned motor vehicle. The vehicle can seat up to seven people and the driver and the car are available for hire. Hire costs are from Half Day USD$35 and Full Day USD$55. Please speak with your Villa Manager Gusti if you require this service. He can put together full or half day sightseeing adventure packages for you. Local attractions include the Royal Baths at Tirta Gangga; the ancient “Bali Aga” village of Teganan; the Royal Summer Palace at Ujung; or further afield to the Besakih Temple on the slopes of Mt Agung. There is also Lake Batur and Kintamani where you can view the volcanoes and the mountain lakes; or closer to home the Palace of Justice in Klungkung and then on the way home visit the bat Caves at Goa Lawah.

We highly recommend that you hire a car and driver (although car rentals are available in Candi Dasa). Driving in Bali can be very dangerous for foreigners who are unfamiliar with the local road laws and customs.

If you prefer an alternative, you could hire bicycles in Candi Dasa. Cycling is a very cheap mode of transportation whilst increasing your fitness levels at the same time. Be very careful when riding bicycles on the roads in Bali, as they are very narrow and dangerous.

Airport Transfers

Transfers to and from the Villa can be arranged with our private driver at the cost of USD$55 for a round trip. Please speak to our Villa Manager Gusti to arrange this service before arriving in Bali or book it online with your accommodation.

Villa Sansil, designed to view the blue ocean, even from the bed. You will find Villa Sansil in Pantai Seseh . Between Canggu and Tanah ot only 20 minutes “out of town Seminyak “. There were the picturesque coconut road through the rice fields ends in the ocean. Pantai Seseh is a small traditional fishing Village with an ancient sea temple. This two bedroom villa with a large traditional wooden veranda and terrazzo floors is surrounded by the ocean, trees, rice fields and a river.

10 minutes by car will bring you to Asia’s most spectacular 18 hole Golf course and famous temple of Tanah lot. If you are a surfer, there is a good break in front of the house and the famous Canggu break is just a stroll away. The Anandita – “Happiness” in Sanskrit – on the beautiful island of Lombok, is an exclusive new hideaway. With 4 bedroom pavilions, full staff and facilities, this absolute beachfront estate sets a new standard for luxury villas in Lombok.

Set under an array of coconut trees on a natural and pristine beach across the famous Gili islands, Anandita is romantic and endlessly peaceful. Location

Anandita is only 40 minutes away by car from Mataram airport through the Monkey forest pass, 30 minutes away from the tourist resort town of Senggigi, 15 minutes away from Tandjung and 5 minutes away from the famous five star Oberoi hotel.

The area is well covered by 2 GSM/GPRS mobile networks which usually allows smooth mobile phone communications and blackberry email and messaging. Internet access is limited to dialup, but is sufficiently reliable for email. A PC and printer are provided for guest use.

The main buildings

The villa consists of a central pavilion with a living room, another open-air building with dining room and a kitchen, surrounded by 4 separate private pavilions all built to blend in with the local environment. Designed by the renowned Australian architect, John Lincoln, the Anandita is made with local materials such as wooden roofs and Palimanan stones. It is decorated with the finest modern furniture, Indonesian statues and carvings preserving harmony and tranquility.

The living room has a warm living space with sofas, TV, DVD player, Hi-Fi, computer with internet access and a snooker table. A large free standing stone fresco creates a large accent wall and separates the living area from the entry.

The wide terrace overlooking the pool provides an excellent spot for sun bathing, afternoon tea or evening dancing. Through a corridor of lotus filled ponds, it is connected to a large open dining room, with a long and massive teak table for up to 12 guests. A modern and fully equipped kitchen is only a few steps away, consisting of 2 separate cooking areas, one for the guests who enjoy cooking and the back area for the chef. The long bar table with high chairs is ideal for morning breakfast or evening aperitif.

Close to the main building and under the shades of the coconut trees is a spectacular swimming pool (26m long) made of Indian stones. The pool follows natural contours and blends beautifully with the garden. The pool includes a Jacuzzi and a refreshing water fall.

The bedrooms

All bedrooms feature a view to the sea and the pool Each can accommodate one couple and 2 children (with additional single beds). The rooms are equipped with an air-conditioner, a ceiling fan, a safe and a mini bar refrigerator. A sliding glass door allows a stunning view and instant access to the sea, the pool and the lawn. On the front of each pavilion, lawn chairs are set up under a parasol for guests to relax.

The team

Catering to your needs, our staff will look after you, under the strict supervision of our manager, well trained with previous experience in managing 4 star hotels. The team includes one waitress, one cleaning staff, one pool technician who also supports and helps organizing sport activities, seven gardeners, one chef, one cooking assistant and three security guards.

The manager and a few other staff speak good English and the manager remains at the Villa 24 hours during guest occupancy.
Our chef – experienced with the best hotels including the Oberoi – can prepare a wide choice of Western and Asian delicacies.

The beach

The Anandita beach is totally unspoiled with white sand and calm waters stretching along the Penta Sirai Bay. Guests can walk along the beach, watching the crystal clear waters and find bright orange or deep blue starfish and colorful seashells. It is ideal for long promenades or jogging.

Under the cooling shades of the “Bale” one can enjoy the sea breeze watching the local fishermen coming back with their daily catch on their small wooden fishing boats with colorful triangular sails. It is the perfect spot for enjoying the sunrise on the Rinjani of Lombok (3726m) and the sunset on the Agung of Bali and a place where guests like to congregate before and/or after each meal to sip cocktails and chat.

Activities

Nearby are traditional Sasak villages, waterfalls and fabulous trails up to the Rinjani volcano and the famous Gili islands to explore. Around the Gili islands, the fishing, snorkeling and diving are sensational and encounters with giant sea turtles likely. The Anandita beach is surrounded by a well preserved coral reef, teaming with exotic and colorful fish.

You can also try our sea kayaks and row along the coast of the Bay, or charter an outrigger boat for a picnic party on one of the Gili islands. The estate includes several well-maintained mountain bikes. You can walk or bicycle around the bay through tapioca field s and coconut plantations. You will come across villagers tending their crops, plowing their fields with buffaloes or attending their horses. Life moves at a slow pace around Lombok. Horse Carts can be rented from the local village for an easy, relaxed sightseeing tour of the village.

Early in the morning, a visit to the nearby market can provide interesting insights into the daily life of the local people. All kinds of commodities: fish, meat, spices, fruits, vegetables, clothes, utensils and souvenirs are on display. The market is an absolute “must see” to get a feel of the island and its charm.

Those keen on playing golf will not have to go further than a few hundred meters to reach the club house of the 18 holes Kosaido golf course, with stunning views of the valleys, the mountains and the turquoise sea.

Besides attending to your daily needs, our staff will be happy to challenge you for a volleyball game at the end of the afternoon. If you prefer to relax after a long day, a massage can be arranged at the beach bale or in your room, or a sunset drink can be enjoyed while watching the last rays of the sun over Mount Agung and the islands.

In the evening, our staff will serve you BBQ dinner on the beach or under the coconut trees, where the sky and the stars will be your only roof. On request, a local live band can liven your evening with songs and music of past and present.

Villa Dasarata is situated in Candi Dasa. Candi Dasa lays on the South East Coast of Bali at approximately 60 km from Denpasar. It is a nice, small, cosy and quiet tourist village far away from the hectic Kuta and Sanur areas. The beaches are white and there is a splendid coral reef for diving and snorkeling. Lots of small shops, bars, restaurants and some international hotels guarantee the necessary entertainment.

The site lays at appr. 200 m from the village and direct on the sea shore. The property for rent is part of a small residential development of 5 houses. This complex has a total surface of 5.500 m2 and is by a wall fully separated from the surroundings. Access to the village is by private lane and Balinese gate (Angkul-angkul). The complex has its own water supply by natural well and electricity supply by PLN (National Indonesian Electricity Company) with own back-up genset in case of power fall. The complex has European management and professionally trained Balinese staff.

The villa interior consists of:

• A large living and dining room with ceiling decoration of the Ramayana story

The guest houses consist of:

• A double bedded studio with its own kitchen, airco, store, bathroom and veranda
• A bungalow with living, one double bedded airconditioned bedroom, one bedroom with two beds, store with washing machine and frigidaire, kitchen, bathroom and veranda under one roof.

All rental prices include use of fitness and swimming pool, costs of housekeeping, linnen, bath towels and pool towels, personnel and transport to and from the airport. For long term rental periods special price agreements can be discussed. The rent is exclusive costs of electricity (for the villa appr. € 30, for the studio € 10 and the bungalow € 20 per 14 days). A cook for daily dinner can be hired for appr. € 65 for 14 days. This person also takes care of the shopping for dinner.

The rental price for a minimum of 14 days is:

• Studio guesthouse*: € 54 per night (max. 2 persons)
• Bungalow guesthouse*: € 65 per night (max. 4 persons) or
• The whole property for € 242.50 per night (max. 12 persons).

This absolute beachfront villa is characterised by a large garden that extends directly onto a private 14-metre beachside buff with timber decking, towering coconut palms, and wooden steps leading down to the beach. This is the place to chill out and gaze at the graceful kites scattered throughout the sky, or watch both the sunrise and the sunset create a warm pink glow across the mysterious, towering, sea-cliffs of Nusa Penida Island.

In addition to the wonderful views, the garden of the two-storey Villa Samudra also boasts a 14 x 4 metre lap pool, which is 1.8 metres in depth and lined with green Java stone. A massage pavilion rests at one end of the pool and a bale bengong (relaxation pavilion) is also located in the garden, together with an outdoor shower, sunloungers, timeworn stone-carvings, terracotta carved wall panels, palms, sweet scented frangipani trees and coastal shrubs and plants.

Villa Samudra’s semi open-air living and dining area borders the swimming pool. Open at each end, equipped with bamboo blinds and cooled by ceiling fans, this is tropical living at its very best. A Jacuzzi extends into the living space and overflows into the pool creating an attractive waterfall feature. A hi-fi system with surround sound is provided for the entertainment of the guests, and wireless high-speed Internet access allows guests to send and receive their e-mails inside the villa or beside the pool, in the garden or on the beach. The contemporary furniture is set off by a myriad of textures from smooth white Palimanan stone to carved antique doors framed by dark grey volcanic rock. Impressive local artwork adorns the walls, harmonized with primitive artifacts. A rustic coffee table, and comfortable sofas and chairs, are complemented by richly colored silk cushions, together with a woven rattan and wood-skin mat resting upon the Merbau wood floor. A striking feature is the curved floating staircase, fashioned in richly patterned wood and supported by eight columns. The open plan dining area is furnishing with a table for six and overlooks a lotus pond. The pond is traversed by stepping stones that lead through a pebbled courtyard to the fully equipped service kitchen where the staff will prepare delicious meals. Every need of the guests has been considered, and a particularly thoughtful touch is the provision of a barbeque. A series of wide stone pillars create a partition, for privacy, between the kitchen and the living and dining area.

The air-conditioned master bedroom, complete with en-suite bathroom and wide balcony, covers the whole of the upper floor under a soaring pitched roof. A queen size bed is made up with top quality linens and a red and black Chinese silk bedcover. Rich drapes frame the windows, local Paras stone bricks form a wall behind the bed, old photographs enhance the decor, and a wooden cabinet houses a satellite TV, DVD and CD player. Glass doors and fly screens open out onto a timber balcony deck commanding breathtaking views of the coastline and ocean. The en-suite bathroom comprises two mirrored dressing rooms with ample storage space, together with two separate washing areas linked by a covered balcony walkway. This clever design allows the dressing rooms and bathroom to be accessed by two different doors from the bedroom, and the walkway is enclosed with fretwork wooden walls, which allow the cool breezes to permeate. One of the grey terrazzo-floored bathroom areas features a black terrazzo corner bathtub and twin washbasins. The other area features a shower, toilet and washbasin.

The two remaining air-conditioned bedrooms are located downstairs, one with queen size bed and the other one with twin bed, other facilities are mirror images of each other, each with en-suite bathroom, satellite TV, DVD and CD player. Glass doors and fly screens in each room open onto a personal terrace furnished with daybeds, and a dressing area is located behind the bed. Each garden bathroom features ’his ’n’ hers’ washbasins, toilet, and a black terrazzo sunken bathtub and shower, bordered by plants, together with a three-tiered running water feature, and a wall for privacy.

The Location

The recent construction of the Sanur-Kusamba by-pass road has made this area accessible to the rest of the island and positions Villa Samudra within easy driving distance of most of Bali’s tourist attractions. Villa Samudra is just forty-five minutes drive from Bali’s international airport, thirty minutes from the cultural town of Ubud , ten minutes from Sukawati art and handicraft market, ten minutes from Sanur, and thirty minutes from the restaurants, shops and nightlife of Kuta and Seminyak. Ketewel village is the origin of the famous Legong Bededari Dance, and the neighbouring village of Sawa produced the finest Legong dancers on the island. The beach of Pabean , in front of Villa Samudra, was once a small port through which oriental traders brought their products; at low tide you can still see the structure of the old harbour and a Chinese cemetery is located nearby. Balinese Hindu purification ceremonies are held beside the ocean at the sacred Pura Segara sea temple, and the nearby reef is renowned for its world class surf breaks.

A full time Villa Manager : Supervise and co-ordinates the staff and is available to assist guests during their stay.
Butlers : On hand 24 hours a day to look after every need of the guests.
Pool Boy : Providing service around the pool and garden area during day time.
Chef and Cook : Trained in the preparation of both local and international cuisine. A menu is provided and the staff will do all the market shopping.
Villa Attendants : Responsible for housekeeping duties and taking care of daily laundry and dry cleaning service.
Security Guards : Duties are to guard the villa 24 hours a day to ensure the security of the guests.
Gardeners : Tending the garden and the grounds of the villa, and cleaning and maintaining the swimming pool and Jacuzzi.
