Location

Villa Zolima is located close to Soka Beach, 4 kilometres from the reputable surfing beach with traditional charming local restaurant”. Located at the edge of a typical Balinese village, the villa is surrounded with rice field and tropical trees. The villa is situated 130 minutes from the airport, 45 minutes from Tabanan monkey forest, 90 from Lovina beach, 90 minutes from Seminyak the famous shopping and entertainment area, and 60 minutes from Nirwana one of the best Golf course in Asia.

Villa style

Stand on more than 26,000 M2 land, this 4 bedrooms villa (including one kid room) of 400 m2 is composed of 2 different one storey buildings. The 150 m2 overflow swimming pool surrounded by a wooden deck terrace, and a pantry with a pizza stone oven. The open space and garden facing the rice fields with the Indian Ocean as a background gives an extraordinary feeling of freedom in harmony with the rich tropical garden. The villa has been designed by the very reputable Italian architect GM (Gianni) who has expressed a modern architecture integrating perfectly the landscape surroundings and has kept the Balinese touch marrying traditional material such as high quality wood and stones. The furniture and equipment are providing an international high level of comfort including a media room, satellites communication, internet connection, Bose sound system, LCD flat screen television.

General Description

A pass way brings the guests from the large parking area to the main building with at the entrance an amazing wood wall fountain giving the necessary serenity to enjoy an exceptional stay. Stepping into, a staircase brings you down the open air living area and library with an amazing view. On one side, we access to the fully equipped kitchen with indoor and outdoor dining area and then to the swimming pool with its iron wood deck and its stone pizza oven. On the other side, you access to the forest view master bedroom with a large en-suite bathroom featuring a large wooden Japanese style bathtub. A large LCD TV is available in the library near the walking dressing that brings you to the kid room which can be converted into a relaxing room, perfect for massage. Further, a path way lead to a second building featuring 2 bedrooms sharing a spacious and comfortable bathroom.

Living and Dining

Refreshed by light breezes, the expansive living and dining areas of the villa open directly to the wide and beautiful terraced rice fields. Although the living areas are separate and distinct, connected by steps and levels, they appear to blend into one limitless space directly in symphony with the natural surroundings.

There are three levels of living space at Villa Zolima:

The major and more dramatic living room offers a panoramic view of the valley. Open at all sides to the natural world, with day beds, ottomans and cushions for relaxing gatherings. A few steps below, the smaller covered living room is a snug place for more intimate conversations. Finally, the library, protected by walls and with floor-to-ceiling windows, provides a homier enclosed environment with large comfortable sofas and cushions.

A few steps away from the living rooms, the semi-detached dining pavilion opens to the rice fields backed by an ocean view through hidden glass doors. With a fully-equipped contemporary kitchen that comfortably seats 8 people, the pavilion offers a more sheltered dining experience during stormy rains, and extra air-conditioned coolness during humid heat waves.

Dining Experiences

The large attached deck, with a roof canopy, has the same beautiful views as the dining pavilion and easily accommodates up to 12 people at its oversized table.

The Library

The large and cozy library offers high-end media facilities, including a Bose sound system which operates throughout the living areas, an I-pod base, satellite television reception, an LCD 32 inch flat-screen television, as well as a library of books, board games, dvds and music.

Baby Sitting

Balinese are renowned for the importance they place on family and their love of children. The Villa staff is no exception. Arrangements can be made for the Villa Zolima staff to baby-sit. Alternately, should you prefer a professional babysitting service, our staff would be pleased to make the rrangements for you. Please mention special requests in your booking enquiry, so that we may provide you with all the necessary information.

Organic Food and Beverage

Choose from a number of special lunch and dinner menus. The chef will also strive to comply with any special dietary requirements. One-day notice is requested for the chef to make these arrangements. All food is charged at cost.

Seasonal organic fresh fruit and vegetables from the Villa Zolima garden and orchard will be picked and made available for the guests. More varieties are otherwise available from nearby producers.

An outdoor brick wood fired pizza and bread oven gives you the opportunity to enjoy fresh homemade bread, delicious pizza and foccacia.

The villa has a stock of soft drinks, wine, champagne and spirits. All beverages are charged by the bottle.
